Windsor's signature event is the Windsor Harvest Festival, an Labor Day weekend tradition running strong for over 100 years — the 2026 festival marks its 104th year, held September 5–7. It's genuinely massive by small-town standards: over 200 vendor booths, morning hot-air balloon launches at Eastman Park, a Saturday night fireworks show, a car show, a pancake breakfast, live music, a beer garden, and Northern Colorado's largest parade on Labor Day morning.

Windsor also runs a Summer Concert Series and a weekly Farmers Market, both organized through Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture, giving the town a steady rhythm of community events well beyond just the Harvest Festival.
